Re-use Recognised in the Guardian

The London Re-use Network has been featured in the Guardian as part of the paper’s Live Better campaign; which this month focuses on how readers can reduce, re-use and recycle more.

Journalist, Leo Benedictus, spent the day with LRN Development Manager Richard Featherstone visiting two flagship projects in West London, the Re-work workshop and the Furnish shop based in the W12 shopping centre, getting a feel for the re-use sector and the social and environmental benefits it is creating.

The article reports that: ‘by linking many different charities who collect, repair and sell unwanted items… the LRN has shown for the first time how reuse can create jobs, reduce waste, and really, seriously work.’
