Two London boroughs, Ealing and Waltham Forest have joined the Re-use hotline bringing the number of boroughs served to seven.
Collections in the London Borough of Ealing began on Monday 2nd September 2013, with Waltham Forest following a week later on Monday 9th.
The hotline means residents can donate goods rather than sending them down the councils bulky waste route.
Collection charges mirror those of the local authorities, £20 for multiple items in Ealing and free of charge in Waltham Forest. Furniture is collected from inside the home, meaning householders to not need to struggle to move it outside.
Collections are made by partner charities, Furnish in Ealing and by ReStore Community Projects in Waltham Forest.
Residents of the boroughs can book a collection or online at www.londonreuse.com.
